Haven't Met You Yet
Chapter 9

Everland Escapade

September PAST 2005

Jiyong's POV

I have been to Everland before but I can say that I only had much fun when we were still trainees. Nobody knows us yet so we can do everything we want. But since being the famous hip hop singers, we cannot do that much often anymore. Usually we would wear masks for people to not recognize us. It's fun! But we still have to be cautious for people might notice and guess who we really are.

I didn't know that I will have so much fun going here at Everland with people I barely know, especially people who I just met a few days ago.

We first went to the Safari zoo, as Durami wanted to see the animals. They are all so happy feeding the giraffes. After that we headed to see the summer festival parade. So many beautiful flowers were displayed and people danced with the performers. A young female dancer even gave Sanghyun a white rose, which made the boy's flushed. Durami also wanted to enjoy the bumper car. I would probably enjoy it too if the little devil was not giving his all to just bump my car. Mrs. Park bravely went to ride with us in the Hurricane, maybe it's for Dara, but she refused to go with us when we asked her to accompany us in T Express. She said that she feels so dizzy and that she does not want to move anymore. Durami helped her mom find a place where she can rest. Dara insisted that she would not leave her Umma.

"Go on with Jiyong,Dara. have fun. You don't have to stay with me. Durami is here."

"But Umma..."

"Are you too chicken to go with us, Sandara?" I teased. "Come on, Sanghyun. Your Chicken Noona won't come for she's chicken." I said, dragging the sniggering Sanghyun with me.

"Who's chicken?!" screamed. "I am not chicken." and just a few seconds she's now striding along side me and her brother.

"I thought you would not come?" I asked.

"I didn't say I would not come, I just said that it would be better if I stay with Umma," she said, clearly irritated. "What are we riding again?"

"This..." I pointed at the steep wooden roller coaster. Dara gulped.

"Uhm, can we just go ride that one instead?" she asked, pointing at the flying elephant ride.

Sanghyun burst into fits of laughter. "Noona! That ride is only for kids!"

"I thought you are not afraid, chicken?" I asked.

"I am not but that ride looks so dangerous! Coem on Sanghyun, I won't let you ride that one either. You might fall. Look at how steep that ride is. Umma would probably have a heart attack if she will see us there."

"Noona, Umma won't know. Come on."

"No. We'll go to another one!" she stated firmly.

"Okay okay, let's just go to the Racing Coaster then." she will absolutely not agree to ride T Express so maybe we can just have the less dangerous one. This is kid's play. I read the description of the Racing Coaster in our brochure. Enjoy a never-ending race on a roller coaster, between a fast-running rabbit named Hurkey and a slow-moving turtle named Timmy! haha. It does not sound dangerous at all. haha.

When I saw the ride. Uh-oh. Only two sits? Who am I going to sit with.

"I'll go with Sanghyun!" Dara announced.

"Hey! Who am I going with?"

"Your problem not mine." she answered. Tch. So much for helping this ungrateful chicken forget! Maybe I should just find a way to go back to 2009. Ha! Who am I kidding? I don't want to disappoint Auntie.

I have no other choice but to sit next to a very fat, geek looking girl who's wearing a very striking red shirt dress, yellow belt, and neon green pants. What an eye sore! I can see her red and green outfit reflected on me.

"Hi!" Is she talking to me? I tried to look like I did not hear her so I purposely glance the other way, away from the traffic light girl. I tried to look for the two parks and found out that they are just seated behind me. I already wanted to beg Sanghyun to switch places with me when the traffic light girl tapped my shoulder.

"Hi!" she said again.

"Uh... hi," I answered unenthusiastically.

"Are you alone?" huh? "I am alone too!" the girl exclaimed. "Would you like to -,"

"No!" the girl looked offended, and I realized how rude I acted. "I mean... no, I am not alone. The people behind us are actually with me."

"Ah... I see. hehe. okay. I thought you went here to have some time alone."

"No, I am having some fun time with my friends. Oh, it's starting!" How heavenly it felt that the ride is finally starting. But then I want to take it back for the girl beside me can clearly yell without stopping and heaving some breath. Amazing. When I tried to see how the two are doing, I can say that all those moments with the geeky traffic light girl was worth it for Dara's screaming and laughing her heart out. At least, that change the course of her mind.

"Yah Jiyong hyung, are you going with us or not?" Oh, it's already finish? That was fast!

"Maybe, he is smitten with the girl he's sitting with awhile ago," Dara said while giggling. "Have you fallen in love at first sight?"

I smirked at her. "Why are you jealous?"

"Huh! Why would I be jealous? Who are you to me for me to feel jealous?"

"Who am I to you? Do you really want me to answer that? Maybe I can tell something that happened a few hours ago just to enlighten you..." Dara rushed to go beside me screaming.

"Yah! Don't you even try Kwon Jiyong!"

"So what are we riding now?" I asked, brushing off Dara's panicky look.

Dara's POV

"I want to eat! I am hungry!" Sanghyun said as I heard my own tummy scream it's agreement.

"Let's go find Auntie and Durami first."

We didn't need to go further because Umma and Durami are already walking towards us.

"Umma! We're hungry let's eat!"

"Yes, we really have to eat now for it's already three in the afternoon. Your Halmeoni already called asking what time we are leaving."

"Where are we going to eat?"

"It depends on what you want to eat," Umma said.

"I want a steak!"

"Then we'll have Flanders then." We began finding our way to the Flanders. Sanghyun was retelling what happened to us at the Racing Coaster ride. I can't help but laugh at the mere thought of the girl sitting with Jiyong. But his threat overpowered that funny incident in my find and feel the warmth rushing in my head as I recall what happened this morning.

"You're too obvious, Chicken. Don't think too much about it..." Jiyong told me, loud enough for Durami, who was walking beside me, to hear.

"Why Oppa? What happened?" Durami asked curiously.

"It's nothing. We just saw a couple awhile ago. Your noona is just so shock to see them ki-," Oh gosh... I stopped him from telling those things to my younger sister by covering his mouth with my hand.

"Durami, don't listen to Jiyong. It's really nothing." I turne dto him right away after Durami nodded and talked to my mother about what food to order. "Don't say those things to my sister. And don't ever tell anyone about the.. the... what happened!"

His eyes has this mischievous glint. Really! I can't believe that my first... first kiss... Oh, Sandy. Stop thinking about. Jiyong would probably see through you again. How does he do that?

When I saw him nod I pulled away my hand covering his too talkative mouth.

"But you are still thinking of it... Don't worry I'll let you kiss me again tonight..." he murmured seductively against my ears before running off to escape my wrath.

"Noona's really having fun, neh, Umma?"

"Yes, thanks to all of you for keeping her company. Especially to that young man there." Mrs. Park said. "I can see that he's trying really hard to not let her alone."

"Yeah. He keeps on pestering her." Durami agreed.

"He's trying to divert her attention somewhere else. And I am glad he's succeeding." smiling brightly at her daughter's attempt on running after her knight. "They look good together... Aren't they?" she suddenly said.
